Image generation problems

Image generation costs 3 credits per image and supports two aspect ratios: square (for icons) and 16:9 (for banners). Most failures are either a credits shortage, a moderation rejection, or a vague prompt.

Symptom: "Not enough credits"

You have fewer than 3 credits available.

Fix steps

• Open the credit activity log to see your current balance.

• Top up at /store — credit packs start at 200 credits for $9.99 and never expire.

• Or upgrade to a subscription plan for monthly credits (200/mo on Developer, 700/mo on Studio).

Symptom: prompt was rejected by moderation

The chat tells you the prompt couldn't be generated due to content policy.

Fix steps

• Reword without violent, sexual, or hateful content.
• Avoid real public figures or copyrighted characters.
• Describe the visual style and scene, not the action — "a knight standing in a forest at dawn" instead of more graphic phrasing.

Tip: If you genuinely think your prompt was rejected by mistake, rephrase once. If it still fails, the moderation pipeline has decided — try a different angle on the same idea.

Symptom: image looks generic or off-style

Vague prompts produce vague images.

Fix steps

Add more detail across these axes:

• Subject — what's in the image, in concrete terms
• Style — flat / 3D-rendered / pixel-art / hand-drawn / photoreal
• Palette — colors, contrast, mood
• Composition — center, top-down, side-view, close-up
• Aspect ratio — square for icons, 16:9 for banners

Example: instead of "a sword", try "a glowing blue rune-engraved longsword, isometric 3D render, dark background, gold highlights, square aspect ratio."

Symptom: image is taking too long

Image generation typically completes in 5-30 seconds.

Fix steps

• If it's running past 60 seconds, check service status at revix.tech.
• Refresh the page — image streaming is resumable like text streaming, you won't be charged twice.
