How Credits Work

Credits are the unit of AI usage in Revix. Every time the assistant replies to you, a small number of credits is deducted based on the length and complexity of that response.

What costs credits

The main thing that costs credits is the AI itself thinking and responding. Short replies cost less. Long, multi-step refactors cost more. You pay when the AI responds, never when you send.

Image generation has a fixed cost. Other generation features are free during their beta period.

ActionCost
Chat replyVariable, based on response length and tool use
Image generation (icon or 16:9 banner)3 credits per image
Animation generation (Beta)Free, 50 per day per user
3D model generation (Beta)Free, rate-limited to 5 per minute per experience

How you get credits

There are two sources: your plan, and one-time top-up packs.

Plan credits

PlanCreditsResets
Free12Weekly
Developer200Monthly
Studio700Monthly

Plan credits reset on a fixed cadence. If you do not use them, they do not carry over.

Credit packs

Top-up packs are one-time purchases. They stack on top of your plan credits and never expire.

PackPrice
200 credits$9.99
700 credits$29.99
1,500 credits$59.99
5,000 credits$149.99
Plan credits are spent first. Top-up credits are only drawn down once your plan allotment for the period is used up.

Where to see your balance

Your current balance is shown in the dashboard header and on the store page. For a per-message log of what each turn cost you, open the credit activity view from your account menu.

What the plans unlock beyond credits

Credits are not the only thing plans control. Higher plans also unlock better models and features:

  • Free uses the Standard AI model and keeps the 30 most recent messages of chat history
  • Developer uses Revix MAX, the strongest model, plus advanced refactoring and priority AI
  • Studio uses Revix MAX, supports up to 10 custom AI personalities, team collaboration for up to 10 members, and extended chat history up to 1,000 messages

See the Pricing page for the full comparison.

Troubleshooting

If your balance looks wrong after a purchase or a reset, give it a minute to propagate from Stripe, then refresh. If it still looks off, see the Troubleshooting Hub or Fix Billing Issues.
