The Plugin Widget
The widget is the small panel that opens inside Studio when the Revix plugin loads. It is where you check connection status, force a reconnect, and confirm which Roblox account is linked.
Opening the widget
The widget opens automatically when Studio starts. If you close it, click the Revix button in the Studio toolbar to bring it back. The toolbar button is added by the plugin on install.
What the widget shows
- Status dot. Green means connected to revix.tech. Gray means disconnected.
- Roblox username. The account currently signed into Studio. This must match the Roblox account you authorized Revix with.
- Plugin version. Shown as
v5.0(or whatever version you have installed). - Connect Dashboard button. Forces a reconnect. Use this if auto-connect fails or after switching Roblox accounts.
- Force resync option. Triggers an immediate full resync of all watched services. Useful if you suspect the AI is looking at stale state.
Update Required banner
If your installed plugin version is below the server-enforced minimum, the widget shows an Update Required banner. Sync and command execution are disabled until you update. To update, open Plugins > Manage Plugins in Studio and click Update next to Revix, then restart Studio.
See Installing the plugin for the full update steps.
When the widget is gray
A gray status dot means the plugin is not currently in contact with revix.tech. Common causes:
- Studio just opened and the first handshake has not completed yet — give it a few seconds
- HTTP requests are disabled in the current place — see Installing the plugin
- The Roblox account in Studio does not match the one you authorized — see How the plugin connects
- Network issue — click Connect Dashboard to retry
